It's me again
Yes, it's me again....after a very long break here I am.
I'm sorry for my long absence but unfortunately from when we moved, my spare time is not too much and we are trying to enjoy Singapore as much as we can.
It is amazing that we came here almost an year ago and while in Europe now is winter, here the weather is still the same. The temperature is everyday around 29-30 degrees Celsius. Now is the thunderstorm season and almost every day is raining a half an hour, an hour and in the evening you can see the sky flashing above the sea.
It's so easy to fall in love with this place. Obviously, like everywhere, there are ups and downs but in the end matters only the things that make us happy (like living in a city with at least 1000 bakery and pastry shops...:))
Some days ago I had a business dinner in a very nice restaurant at Level 33 with an amazing Marina Bay view. Level 33 is actually a brewery where tradition meets technology.
We started with a delicious foie gras followed by a cod fillet with potatoes, anchovy and olives. For the dessert I was too full....maybe next time...:)

Sì, sono di nuovo io .... dopo una lunghissima pausa eccomi qui.
Mi dispiace per la mia lunga assenza, ma purtroppo da quando ci siamo trasferiti, il mio tempo libero non è tanto e stiamo cercando di goderci Singapore il piu' possibile.
E' sorprendente che siamo venuti qui quasi un anno fa, e mentre in Europa ora è inverno, qui il tempo è ancora lo stesso. La temperatura di tutti i giorni è intorno ai 29-30 gradi centigradi. Ora è la stagione dei temporali e quasi ogni giorno piove una mezz'ora, un'ora e la sera si può vedere il cielo lampeggiante sopra il mare.
E' così facile innamorarsi di questo posto. Ovviamente, come ovunque, ci sono alti e bassi, ma alla fine conta solo le cose che ci rendono felici (per esempio come vivere in una città con almeno 1.000 panetterie e pasticcerie ... :))
Qualche giorno fa ho avuto una cena di lavoro in un ristorante molto carino Level 33, con una vista meravigliosa su Marina Bay.
Abbiamo iniziato con un delizioso foie gras, seguito da un filetto di merluzzo con patate, acciughe e olive. Per il dessert ero gia' troppo piena .... forse la prossima volta ... :)
